In a fabulous old industrial building you will experience the endless colour, tastes, sounds and atmosphere that is "Canberra's Sunday Best". For the past 2 years Belconnen Fresh Food Markets have been pushing to open a Jamie Oliver Ministry of Food Cooking School at the markets. Our values and location align seamlessly with the Ministry of Food philosophy. We want to be able to provide a program for our community that teaches basic cooking skills and good nutrition to anyone and everyone who wants to learn to cook. Our advantage being located at a fresh food market offers us the opportunity to provide an engaging experience for our participants allowing them to understand and visualise beautiful fresh produce first hand, then take it back into the kitchen and learn to cook.
